John Ross

It is with sadness that we have heard the news of the passing of one our long time members of Judo Nova Scotia and judo friend John Ross.

John Ross, a senior member of Judo Nova Scotia passed away recently. John's early judo career was in  Prince Rupert BC. He moved east about 15 years ago and was an active member of the Bridgewater Judo Club.

John's main contribution to JNS was as an official. For several years he could be seen refereeing at most of our tournaments. Health issues forced John to retire from judo several years ago.

He will be missed by his judo family and friends.

Hi everyone,

Please see the link below to register for a training camp in PEI at the end of August. As we gear up for an exciting Judo season, this represents another great opportunity to shake off the summer rust and engage with the broader Judo community.
